Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) has matriculated 2955 students into its 2024/2025 academic session.

Professor Smaranda Olarinde, the Vice Chancellor of the Institution, disclosed this on Tuesday during the 16th consecutive matriculation ceremony of the University.

Giving the breakdown, Olarinde explained that ABUAD admitted 2507 as undergraduates, 34 as Open and Distance Learning Programme (ODLP)  students while 414 students are admitted into various Part Time Programmes.

The VC, who said the unbroken ceremony was as a result of the Institution’s mission to redefine education in Nigeria and the globe, stressed that the University is also dedicated to quality and functional education, innovation and core values to make its students the leaders of positive change.

She encouraged the matriculants to avoid companies that can discourage them from fulfilling their aspired ambitions in the institution.
