Afrobeats sensation, Divine Ikubor also known Rema has addressed the persistent claims linking him to the Illuminati, firmly denying any involvement with the secret society.
In a statement posted on his official Instagram story, he urged his longtime fans, known as “Ravers,” to educate his new followers about his background and heritage.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Rema passionately rejected the accusations that suggested his success was due to supernatural forces, describing the Illuminati as “diabolical” and emphasizing that “Jesus is the king.”
In his post, he said, “Day one. Ravers, please assist me in informing new Ravers that I have been on this path for a long time. You’d have so much more clarity if you could readily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my ancestry are, what flies in Benin’s skies every evening, and so on. My execution will evolve unapologetically as I evolve. Please get to know your artist. That is why I conduct interviews. And all of that Illuminati nonsense is nonsense. I work too hard to make art for you to glorify some wicked garbage. It’s dead now. ‘Jesus is the King.'”
His elucidation follow the recent sharing of a snippet from his upcoming “Ravage” EP, which is scheduled for release on Friday, October 27, putting to rest the rumours and ensure that his music remains the focus of his fans’ attention.
