The Nigerian Army has assured maximum security of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members posted to Borno State.
This was revealed in a statement on the Force official X (formerly Twitter) handle by the Theatre Commander (TC) Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General GU Chibuisi at The National Youth Service Corps Temporary Orientation Camp Borno State situated at Mustapha Umar El-Kanemi Arabic College, Maiduguri, Borno State.
According to him, adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure a hitch free Orientation training for the Batch B Stream 2 Corps Members posted to the State.
NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the NYSC Orientation Camp in Borno State has been shut down for 13years amid insurgency by Boko Haram.
In his remarks, the TC charged Corps Members to exhibit high level of discipline, patriotism and respect to constituted authority.
He further enjoined them to have a relaxed mind as he guaranteed them of adequate security and the necessary support to ensure that they enjoy their service year in the State.
