Farida made this disclosure while expressing her heartfelt gratitude to those who came to her aid after her attempt to plunge into the lagoon at Third Mainland Bridge.
According to her, her husband’s betrayal and deceit had left her deeply wounded and depressed because her husband, Demola had promised her certain things before their big ₦100 million wedding.

Farida extended her apology to her family members, pleading their forgiveness for causing them embarrassment.
She also conveyed her goodwill to well-wishers and her estranged husband’s future marriage.
