Saudi Pro League side, Al Nassar has ended deal to sign Nigeria and Bayern Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface as the club opted to sign Jhon Duran instead.

Jhon Duran deal was seal for a whopping €77m plus add-ons.

According Fabrizio Romano, negotiations for Boniface’s transfer were well underway, with a Saudi delegation present in Germany since Monday. However, the deal ultimately stalled due to Al Nassr’s reluctance to give the green light.

The deal was in progress but was never finalized as Al Nassr did not give the final approval.

Aston Villa’s Striker, Jhon Duran has reportedly agreed personal terms with Al Nassr and medical has been scheduled for today.

Victor Boniface was not listed for Wednesday’s UEFA champions league win over Sparta Prague.

He is expected to resume training with the German side ahead of the weekend game with Hoffenheim.
