The incumbent Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has emerged the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming November 16th, 2024 gubernatorial election in the state.
Aiyedatiwa was declared winner of the governorship primary election by the Chairman of the APC Primary Election Committee and Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo at the International Culture and Event Centre, The Dome, in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Sunday night.
Ododo, while announcing Aiyedatiwa as winner, said he scored 48,569 votes to defeat other 15 aspirants.
