Former Chairman of Chairmen of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has emerged as the new President of the NFF. He polled 21 votes to defeat other candidates.
However, there was a rerun between Gusau and Idah Peterside, where Gusau pulled a total of 39 votes to defeat Peterside who had only one vote.
