The former president of America, releases a playlist every summer, which contains songs he listens to during the summer break.
On Tuesday, 26th July 2022, Obama released his summer playlist for 2022 featuring ‘Finesse’, by Pheelz, ‘Last Last’, by Burns Boy and ‘Vibe Out’ by Tems.

This is not the first time that Afrobeats acts will be featured on the famous summer playlist of the erstwhile President.
In 2020, Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ and Rema’s ‘Iron Man’ made the playlist in 2019.
To this end, with the continuous rise of the Afrobeats, Nigerian artists are sure to be featured in the coming years.
