President Bola Tinubu has called on Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State and other Governors in the country to clear salaries and pensions of workers in their various states.
Tinubu stated this on Thursday while playing host to all the governors in Presidential Villa Abuja.
As each state now receive double Federation Account Allocation Committee, he enjoined them to create more economic opportunities for the youths and keep them more productive.
On food security, he charged them to empower farmers to boost economy, pay attention to livestock development and monitor hoarding of food items in their respective jurisdictions.
In lieu of the lingering security threats in some states, Tinubu tasked the governors to strengthen their security force.
