Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has blasted individuals accusing him of inviting politicians from opposition political parties to commission Projects in his State.
Wike stated this today when Adams Oshiomole, former National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) commissioned the Rumuepirikom Flyover in Obio-Akpor, Rivers State.
Wike added that no constitutional Law deprives him from calling men from opposition Political parties to commission Projects for him.
“As a matter of fact, there is no law that says I must only invite my party members(PDP) to commission my projects.
“What is important is that when you invite other parties, they would come and see if what they are hearing is correct.
“I am sure today, when our brother, Adams Oshiomole goes back, he would say all those things I am hearing, I have gone, I have seen and it is correct.”
“Other people who are coming are not in my party; so, if anybody wants to die, you die.” He said
NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the Emir of Kano, HRH Aminu Ado Bayero had inaugurated Dr Peter Odili Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease Diagnostic and Treatment Centre in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers on Monday.
It is also gathered that Peter Obi would inaugurate the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover on Thursday in Port Harcourt, the state capital while President Muhammadu Buhari would commission the Nabo Graham Douglas Campus, Nigerian Law School, in Obio/Akpor on Friday.
