The Center for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO) has honoured the Resident Electoral Commissioner INEC Ekiti State, Dr Adeniran Rahmon Tella in recognition of the successful conduct of the 2022 Ekiti State gubernatorial election.



The honour was an Investiture and Conferment of Integrity Icon of Nigeria (IION) coupled with Certificate of Credence to INEC, Ekiti State.

While speaking on the essence of the award today at the INEC state Office, Ado Ekiti, the executive director of center for Ethics and Self Value Orientation CESVO, Ethicist(Prince) Salih Musa Yakubu commended the good conduct of Dr Adeniran Rahmon Tella and his team for a job weldone during the 2022 gubernatorial election in the State.

He noted that the Organisation, whose major function was to watch and whistle blow corruption in individuals and organisations at all works of life has been watching INEC for the past 16years.
In his words, “Since our team has been conducting secret assessment on INEC Ekiti state for the past 16 years, this is the first time we have conviction to honour your office”

He revealed that they have 1,500 whistle blowers throughout the country, some of whom independently visited INEC Ekiti state and all the INEC offices across the 16 local government in the state thrice to conduct independent and secret investigation, budget tracking and assessment of the impact of the series of voter education programmes.

Dr Tella was honoured and conferred member, Center for Ethics and Self Value Orientation, and now addressed as Ethicist Dr Adeniran Rahmon Tella (IION).

In his acceptance speech, the Hon REC Dr Adeniran Rahmon Tella (IION) ascribed the honour to the glory of God and the effective management and staff of INEC Ekiti state.

He also appreciated the CESVO for counting him and INEC worthy of the award, and wishes them more successes in their future endeavours.
