The Ekiti State House of Assembly, EKSHA has confirmed the appointment of the Retired Justice Cornelius Akintayo as the Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission.
The confirmation was after the EKSIEC Chairman had briefed members about his vision and past contributions to the development of the State.
The Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Hakeem Jamiu described the nominee as a legal icon that was fit for the post.
