The Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye narrowly escaped death on wednesday when a section of the new state high court complex, where his chamber was located collapsed.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that the incident occurred around 4pm on wednesday evening, when the Judge was in his chamber.
There are speculations that the incident may not have been unconnected with the torrential rain fall that may have weakened the foundation of the new edifice.
However, it was gathered that no life was lost in the accident, as the Chief Judge who was badly wounded during the incident was immediately whisked away to the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti, where he is currently receiving treatment.
