The Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers has felicitated the governor of the state, Biodun Oyebanji on his award as the Governor of the Year in Community Development by the Daily Independent Newspapers.
The Council, in a statement signed by its chairman, the Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti, Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro, attested to the magnitude of the state helsman’s achievements since his assumption to office.
They said that the award is attributed to his great works in the development of the communities in various ways including provision of power supply to rural communities that had last seen electricity for decades past.
The statement continues, “We also acknowledge your numerous achievements in rural and urban roads among others.
“we are pleased with your community participation approach to governance and its overall impact on government policies and projects execution.
“We therefore want to use this opportunity to encourage you to keep it up and to go higher in all ramifications. Be assured of our royal blessings and support at all times”.
