Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has commiserated with the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Hon Femi Bamisile on the passing of their mother, Assistant Pastor (Mrs) Victoria Tolani Bamisile who died at the age of 82.
Oyebanji, in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser (Media), Yinka Oyebode, in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday, described the late matriarch of the Bamisile family as a loving, dutiful and prayerful mother, a minister of the Gospel who instilled in her children the virtues of hard work, honesty and dedication to duty early in life.
He added that she was a respected community leader, a mother figure to many and was loved and respected for her positive impact on many people that came her way within her community and the church of God.
Oyebanji prayed for the repose of her soul, noting that the late matriarch of the Bamisile dynasty would be missed for her counsel, motherly care and generosity of spirit.
According to him, “Mama has done her best. She fought a good fight of faith and has gone to have a well-deserved rest. I urge my brothers and the entire family to take solace in the fact mama lived a remarkable life of service to God and humanity and witnessed her children attain great heights.
“On behalf of my wife, the Government and the good people of Ekiti State, I commiserate with my brothers, Hon Femi Bamisile (MHR Ekiti South II); Hon Kayode Bamisile (Commissioner at Public Compliant Commission) their siblings and the entire family and pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant mama eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord.” he added.
