The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ekiti state chapter has hailed Governor Biodun Oyebanji over the appointment of female Head of Service, Dr Olufolake Olomojobi.

The NAWOJ Chairperson, Adewumi Ademiju commended the state governor in a statement signed by the secretary of the association, Funmi Falae.

The statement said Olomojobi’s appointment serves as an additional positive tone for gender balance in the state’s civil service, adding that her expertise and leadership acumen would undoubtedly enhance the service’s performance.

The association expressed gratitude to the state governor for his gender-friendly stance, saying the appointment is a testament to his administration’s commitment to gender equality and women empowerment.

NAWOJ urged Dr. Olomojobi to use her position to mentor young women and girls, inspiring them to strive for excellence in their careers.
