…as she attempts to set new Guinness World Record for longest cooking marathon by individual
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti Council has admonished, the Ekiti born chef, Damilola Adeparusi to remain focused and determined as she embarked on a 120-hour cooking marathon.
Adeparusi, who is currently cooking from, Ilupeju, Ekiti, Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State is set to break chef Hilda Baci Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
NUJ, in a statement jointly signed in Ado Ekiti by Chairman and Secretary of the Union, Comrades Rotimi Ojomoyela and Kayode Babatuyi, enjoined her to neither be distracted nor relent but focus to clinch on the medal.
Comrades Ojomoyela and Babatuyi affirmed that Adeparusi should be ready to prove to the world the spirit of hard work and resilience which Ekiti is known for.
The Union therefore called on relevant bodies, individuals and government to rally round her at this critical time as she try to put Ekiti on world map.
