The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has congratulated the chairman, correspondents’ chapel, Comrade Victor Ogunje on his appointment by the state government as the SA to the Deputy Governor on media.
According to a statement by the Chairman of the union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela, he prayed for God’s help, knowledge and prayed God to grant him the strength and wisdom to do well in the assignment.
The NUJ Chairman also appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the consideration describing him as a media friendly Governor.
He also described the choice of Ogunje as very thoughtful and expressed hope that he would deliver on the task before him being a thoroughbred and experienced professional.
The union also promised to give the necessary support to Comrade Ogunje and by extension the state government to achieve the mandate of making Ekiti a pride of place.
