The mother of the Ekiti State Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Correspondents’ Chairman, Chief (Mrs) Rachael Oja Omogbemile Ogunje, has died at the age of 94.
In a statement by the Chairman, Victor Ogunje described the deceased as a respectable community leader.
The statement read in part, “Mrs Ogunje died on Tuesday at her residence at Ijan Ekiti , Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State.”
“Burial arrangements will be announced later.”
