Ekiti United FC Team Manager, Adedeji Adu has debunked the rumours circulating on social media surrounding the suspension of the team’s training due to unpaid players salaries, adding that there is no atom of truth to the news.
This news was reportedly circulating the social media.
Reacting to the online story, Adedeji said a two day time-out was given to the players to relax their legs after rigorous workout they went through in the last phase of the screening exercise.
According to him, “Let me say this emphatically that the storyline of suspending training till further notice is not true.
“Please, desist from such ill-fated storyline especially unverified news about Ekiti United FC.
“Work is on top gear at addressing the issue of the unpaid salaries as to put a better process in place for our financial administrations and better outlook on the long-run.”
The team will continue its training routine tomorrow at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti by 7a.m.
