The Ekiti State Government has signed a bilateral partnership with the Oriental region of Morocco to foster sustainable development and principles a social solidarity economy.
The Governor of the State, Biodun Oyebanji, expressed great satisfaction in establishing a partnership agreement with the Oriental region of Morocco, with the aim of promoting the principles of the social solidarity economy.
Oyebanji, ably represented by the SSG, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, emphasized that the bilateral relationship represents a significant milestone in fostering sustainable development, fair and inclusive economic growth in both regions.
He further highlighted that by joining forces with the Oriental region of Morocco, the State government has embarked on a transformative path to leverage the potentials of the social solidarity economy for the mutual benefit and improvement of both societies.
In his words, โThis significant collaboration represents a significant stride towards promoting enduring progress,fair advancement, and comprehensive economic approaches in our respective areas.
“The social solidarity economy serves as a guiding light, advocating for the principles of fairness, environmental sustainability, and collective welfare.
“We embark on a transformative expedition to harness the potential of the social solidarity economy for the improvement of our societies.” He said.
