A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle has doled out the bags of palliative rice received from Governor Biodun Oyebanji to her people across the sixteen local government areas of the state.

The rice was extended to several persons who were drawn from across the sixteen local government areas of the state.

Addressing the gathering, Erelu Elebute-Halle confirmed that she was awarded fifty bags of rice for each group to cushion the effects of the economy.

She noted that the development was part of the Governor’s arrangements to mitigate the effects of the current economic hardship.

Elebute-Halle, who was the Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party in the last gubernatorial election in Ekiti State commended Governor Oyebanji for investing in his people, saying such was a sign of good governance.

She called on people of Ekiti State to continue to support the Governor so as to enable him deliver on his dream to taking the state to an enviable height.

In an interview, some of the beneficiaries appreciated Erelu Elebute-Halle for doing justice to the rice and ensuring that it got to the right persons.

They promised to continue to support Governor Biodun Oyebanji and also follow the lead of Erelu Elebute-Halle whom they described as their own mentor.
