The Kano State Police Command has said it will respect the order of the Court stopping the reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II as Emir.
This was disclosed at a press briefing by the state commissioner of Police, Muhammed Gumel.
Gumel also vowed to discipline anyone who attempts to harass the Emirs heading the five emirates.
The police boss equally disclosed that they have not received any order from the state governor ordering the arrest of Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, stressing that it was only circulated on social media.
