Falconets duo, Rofiat Imuran and Blessing Oluwatosin Demehin have joined French women’s first division club Stade de Reims on a two-year deal with a 12-month extension option.

In a statement released by Stade de Reims while commenting on the acquisition of Imuran, “A few days before facing Paris FC, Stade de Reims is strengthening defensively with the arrival of Rofiat Imuran, a young Nigerian left side. Welcome Rofiat.”

And commenting on the signing of Demehin, the club wrote, “After the arrival of Rofiat Imuran, Stade de Reims continued its international recruitment and enlisted Blessing Demehin, a young Nigerian defender. Welcome Tosin.”

Both players were part of the Falconets squad that featured at this year’s FIFA women’s U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.

The team got to the quarter-finals before losing 2-0 to Netherlands.
