The World soccer governing body, FIFA has Inaugurated its first African continental office in Maamoura, Morocco.
FIFA, CAF, and FRMF, alongside Morocco’s Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, signed the host agreement in Marrakech on Monday evening.
This headquarters represents FIFA’s trust in Morocco as a key partner for the development of football across the continent.
This office is dedicated to serving all of Africa.
This trust has been further solidified by FIFA’s decisions to award Morocco the hosting rights for five editions of the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup and to include Morocco as a co-host for the FIFA World Cup 2030.
