A Non-Governmental Organization, Renewed Life Foundation for the Disabled People, RELFODIP, has solicited the support of the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, in addressing the challenges of Persons Living with Disabilities.

The group made the plea in a statement signed by the President and General Secretary of RELFODIP, Oyewole Oluwafemi Oluwayose and Adedokun respectively.

The group which lauded the administration of governor Oyebanji noted that they will deliver good governance and dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot, promptly pay wages and salaries, infrastructural development etc.

The statement read in part: “We request the incoming Governor (administration) to give us the maximum support in terms of finance, job opportunities and appointment (Special Assistant) to the governor on disabled matters. This will indicate that wr disabled are well reckoned with and are fully involved in this government.

“I will sincerely imploy the good people of Ekiti State to endure with the government and allow him to deliver good governance to the masses. We call on many philanthropists, government and other NGOs to support our organization morally and financially.”
