In a harrowing incident on Tuesday, a young man, whose identity remains undisclosed, caused chaos in the streets of Ado Ekiti by crashing into three vehicles, leaving a trail of damage and injuring a motorcyclist.
The unsettling scene unfolded at the Oke Oriomi area of Ado Ekiti, precisely in front of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners office.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that the amateur driver, reportedly coming from the Okesa axis, encountered a police patrol team and, out of fear, attempted to reverse his Lexus Toyota car.
Unfortunately, he lost control of the vehicle, leading to the collision with three other vehicles in the vicinity.
Amid the chaos, a woman riding a motorcycle was caught in the crossfire, sustaining injuries as a result of the collision.
Following the incident, authorities swiftly intervened, and the driver was apprehended and handed over to the traffic department of the Ekiti State Police Command for further investigation and appropriate action.
