Chinwe Ofiili stirred emotions on social media as she shared her wedding dress ordeal, contrasting the classy blue dress she ordered with the disappointing creation she received from her initial fashion designer.

The bride-to-be had envisioned a stunning blue wedding dress, mirroring the style of another lady.

However, her expectations were shattered when the dress she received did not fit properly on the upper part of her body.

Undeterred, Chinwe took matters into her own hands to ensure her special day remained glamorous.

Opting for a fresh start, she sourced new materials and engaged a different fashion designer who could replicate the original design.

Remarkably, the new dress was crafted in under 12 hours and ready just 20 minutes before the wedding commenced.

In a twist of fate, Chinwe’s determination and quick decision to seek an alternative resulted in a dress that perfectly matched her initial vision.

Grateful for the turnaround, she shared a video featuring all three outfits – the inspiration, the first letdown, and the final triumphant creation – on her Instagram page.

In her words, “When I say the devil really tried it!! Thank God , his hand was on me and I was able to see the positive in all and have a level of Joy that can only come from him.

“You hear of horror stories with tailors, especially from brides for weird reasons, but this one had me shook!!

“After several fittings, my final fitting a day before the event was a disaster. In the video you can see me almost crying even.

“I had to rush to a new tailor to make something that I could wear…in 12 hours…with new fabric 😩.

“I had my new dress delivered 20 mins before my event and Glory be to God it worked out. NEVER AGAIN 😩😩😩.”

Netizens who could sympathise, took to the comment section to air their views.
