Bayern Munich edged the la liga giant, Barcelona 2–0 in the UEFA Champions’ league group fixture at the Allianz Arena, on Tuesday after defeating Inter Milan in the first game a week ago.

Goals from Lucas Hernandez and Leroy Sane were enough for the Bundesliga champions to beat Barca in the Champions’ League group fixture.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann expressed how happy he was due to Robert Lewandowski failure to score against them at the Allianz Arena.

Speaking after the game, Nagelsmann stated that he’s happy the Polish striker did not score against his former team.

“Barca had the better chances in the first half. We had to rely on goal keeper ,Manuel [Neuer].”

“After the break we were more aggressive. We quickly scored two goals. We basically won because of higher efficiency.”

“From our side I am also happy Lewandowski did not score against us tonight,” Nagelsmann said.”
