…as she confirms divorce from partner

Nollywood veteran actress, Ireti Doyle, has confirmed her divorce from film producer Patrick Doyle.
The actress in an exclusive interview with Chude, revealed that she was no longer married to film producer,Patrick, stating that “I am officially divorced.”
Reacting to the disappointments that would arise from her fans regarding her revelation, she said, she could not sacrifice her life at the alter of their fantasy.
“My life is not an animation.” I’m sorry if I contributed to shattering your image of love and a perfect couple but I cannot sacrifice my life at the alter of your imagination or your fantasy. So if I hurt anybody, I’m sorry. But I had to choose me.
It was a pretty picture and there was a wide lacuna between the picture and reality.”
The 55 year actress who shared 6 children with her ex husband, revealed that she had her first child at the age of 19, stating that she had no business being married at that time.
“When you are an adult, it is not a life and death situation, there are some situations that are way beyond your control.” She said.
“The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time. Period. Let’s not talk about the choice of who I married.”
