Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has revealed that She parted ways with her husband, Mr Akinrimisi as a result of long-distance union.
The Nollywood actress quit her 25-year marriage, because her estranged husband was based in the United States.
The thespian, who disclosed this in a chat with popular media personality Chude Jideonwo, said she had to settle for divorce because he long distance didn’t help her marriage.
She said, “He [my ex-husband] was a good father to his children. But I got to a place where I wanted more. And I would always travel back and forth. But I knew at a point that if I really want this, it came with a sacrifice.
“It wasn’t a sacrifice of marriage, but then he being there [USA] and the distance didn’t help.”
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Shaffy married Akinrimisi in 1995 and the Union was blessed with 2 kids.
