In a recent interview with Trending on Hip TV, Mr. Collins Enebeli Ajereh, father of Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy, shared his perspective on Wizkid’s remark referring to his son as an influencer.

When asked about the situation, Mr. Ajereh, fondly known as Mavins Grandpa, expressed that everyone is entitled to their opinion and that the comment should not be overblown.

According to him, “I do not see why people make anything spectacular out of it. Whoever said what he or she said depends on the circumstance they made such a comment, and I wouldn’t want that to be an issue of controversy.”

He further emphasized that “there’s no love lost” and chose not to interpret the comment beyond its intended context.

NEWSTODAYNG recalls that, Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an influencer while responding to a fan’s comment about Ladipoe’s alleged criticism of him.

Despite the controversy, Don Jazzy has appeared unfazed by Wizkid’s comment as he recently thanked Wizkid on X (formerly Twitter) after the superstar shared the streaming link to Ayra Starr’s second album, “The Year I Turned 21.”
