Popular Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has finally opened up on how her marriage to filmmaker, Daniel Ademinokan crashed.

The Edo-State-born actress who married Ademinokan in 2011, after two previous marriages revealed that she found out her marriage to the filmmaker was over on YouTube.

According to the 45-year old actress in an interview with comedian Teju Baby Face, she revealed that her marriage to the filmmaker was out of necessity as she has been divorced for three years.

Describing how she received the news of her divorce, she said, ” The man in question traveled; he was supposed to be away for a while and then come back.

“My phone was buzzing with notifications, and I started receiving phone calls from my friends who called to check on me after reports circulating claimed that my marriage had ended. Then I decided to check on YouTube. And even after that, I still didn’t know that something like that had happened until I got the final call that the marriage had ended.”

Stella disclosed that she put a call through to her ex-husband, who revealed that he wouldn’t be returning from his trip.

She further explained although they were good friends, but the marriage had crashed because they were not compatible as a couple.

“He was my friend. He was awesome, but as a couple, things did not work out. We messed things up. When we went our separate ways, out of love and respect for each other, we did not talk about it. We just left it as it was. People blamed me for this last one (marriage crash) but they didn’t know what happened”, she added.

NEWSTODAYNG recalled that Stella was married to late Jaiye Adoderin, one of the son of the founder of Punch Newspaper, Olu Aboderin in 1999 at 22 who died of a heart attack.

However, Aboderin passed away four years after, with the union producing two daughters. After three years of grieving over her late husband, Stella got married to Emeka Nzeribe in 2007, but the marriage lasted only seven months.
