A Nigerian record producer and Mavin Records Boss, Michael Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy said he invested over N2,000,000,000 on his ex-signee, Rema.
Recall that Rema recently terminated his contract with the record label, a contract that the Mavin Boss said was supposed to last for fifteen years.
He said, “I invested more than 2 billion naira in Rema. But once he started making money from his music, he felt I wasn’t treating him well. Upcoming artists often don’t realize how difficult it is to sign an artist.
“The contract I had with Rema was favorable to him, yet he felt he wasn’t being treated right and decided to terminate it. I wish him the best”.
