The former federal Commissioner for Information and Culture, Major General Ibrahim Bata Haruna has described the Senators who champion the impeachment move of President Muhammadu Buhari as ‘people who woke up from the wrong side of the bed.’

Haruna said this in reaction to whether Buhari has run out of ideas to run the Country, stating that the country is just not run by his ideas.

He also frowned at Nigerians speaking ill of the Country without considering the success the it records on interval basis.

He noted that Nigeria has not failed, adding that if it has failed, there would be no Country to talk about.

In his words, “Impeachment of the president is a procedural and constitutional process. There is a law provided for it.
Someone is about to finish his eight years in office and you, maybe you woke up on the wrong side of your bed, you walked up to the Senate to impeach him.”

“I didn’t say Buhari has ran out of ideas, I am just saying we are not run by his ideas.”

“You are at work, you are feeling safe, do you think if there is a war or anarchy in this state of affairs, you will be free? You want me to show me failure, why don’t you tell me to show you success?”

“Forty years ago, I was a general,I fought in the civil war as a Commander and we lost lives but, we had hope.”

“If we had failed, we will not be talking about Nigeria today, we have not failed.”

“So, Buhari has not run out of ideas, we are still solving our problems.” He said.
