No fewer than 530 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses are ready for deployment in Lagos, Oyo, Kwara, Kaduna, Kogi states and Abuja.
This was revealed by the Programme Director of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI), Michael Oluwagbemi.
According to him, the deployment is on a demand-led basis and will commence before the end of May.
He added that efforts will be intensified at the conversion of diesel and petrol-fuel engines across the country.
