The Nigerian controversial Crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has been sentenced six months Imprisonment with no option of fine.
The judgment was delivered by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday morning.
NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Bobrisky on April 5 in court on a six-count charge ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering.
However, the court dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira abuse after he pleaded guilty to the crime.
The court also ordered that he be remanded in EFCC detention in Lagos and adjourned hearing for judgement into the case to April 9 which could not hold as a result of Eid-Al-Fitr public holiday.
