A graduate of Accounting Education, Lagos State University,(LASU), turned hawker has received financial aid from popular Tiktoker, A.aclown simply identified as Adura.
In a video that went viral recently, the Tiktoker approached the lady in disguise asking for #100 for transportation to mile 12 as she had an appointment. The lady who didn’t have much, gave her the money and that single act turned her life around.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that the lady, who is yet to be identified, is a 48year old widow with children who resulted to carrying load for people in kosofe market, Lagos, after she was laid off from her teaching job during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In her words,” during Corona I wasn’t paid, I used to teach at Our Sister of Hope, Nursery, Primary and Secondary, I was paid N40, 000 initially, but students were owing and it affected us teachers. This was before my husband died.”
When asked why she was giving money and smiling irrespective of her situation, she replied with “Everybody has challenges” as her challenge is to ” have rest of mind so I won’t be working up and down, I have small children in school, I am a Christian, it is good to give.”
A.aclown who was impressed with her response and was sympathetic gifted her with a N100,000 and the lady who was emotional, promised to start a job and showered prayers on her.
