Osun State Police command has arrested a 40-year-old man identified as Rotimi Olufayo for allegedly stabbing his younger brother, Oke Oluwaseyi, 28, in Ilare-Ijesa area of the state.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Rotimi attacked his younger brother and stabbed him with a knife.
According to a source who pleaded anonymity, trouble started when their father passed away last month, leaving behind an uncompleted building among other property.
“Oluwaseyi has been avoiding Rotimi since their father passed on because they were having issues over the property their father left behind.
“He came to Ilare yesterday to make sure the uncompleted building his father left is completed, not knowing that Rotimi will attack him over the same building.
“Rotimi stabbed him in the stomach and he’s currently in critical condition in an undisclosed hospital. He was apprehended while trying to run away and has since been handed over to the police,” the source said.
