Speaking with NEWSTODAYNG, a motorist, Ayodele olaleye hailed the giant strides of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the transportation sector, while also soliciting for further expansion of the park.

In his words; “We like this park as given by the State government, but we complain to the government, they did not build certain things well, the land, just 3 weeks the land (floor) is not okay. We call on the State government to renovate this place. Also, those spelling on the road side is okay.”

Similarly, another motorist identified as Gbenga Fasua, urged the government to assist them in providing good road network that links to ‘Tosin Aluko park’ as a result of its bigger space.

“We are just managing here, we need to go back to our own park. That our Tosin Oloko park, has more space than this place.

“We beg the governor to repair the road there so we can move there and we will not fight. We also want to use here and that place too”. He said

However, irrespective of the fact that marketers are not allowed to trade in the park, an entrepreneur who deals on perfume, Godstime Obasuyi, recounted how he brought his business into the park.

“The park is still new and has been open for about 2 weeks and though we are not allowed to sell in the park, I still find way to maneuver my sales but by the time they start collecting money I would have finished selling and gone back to my shop”.

A commuter identified as Blessing Jonah noted that the bus terminal has helped in reducing traffic outside.

She said, ” Before now, we used to enter the bus outside the park. However after the park was built, we were moved inside and the price of the bus is still the same irrespective of the terminal. The price is determined by the fuel subsidy, not the terminal.”
