This past weekend marked a momentous occasion for Nigerian celebrities as Adebowale Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, and Big Brother Naija star Chukwuemeka Okoye, famously known as Frodd, were conferred with honorary Doctorate degrees.
Frodd shared the exciting news on Monday, November 13, 2023, through an Instagram post.
In a video, he was seen receiving the honour from the Ecole Superieure de Gestion et de Technologie (ESGT) University of Benin Republic, recognizing his contributions in the field of Business Management.
The reality TV star expressed his gratitude to God and the institution, reintroducing himself as “DR CHUKWUEMEKA BELLINUS OKOYE (PhD) Doctor Of Philosophy in Business Management.”
Meanwhile, Mr Macaroni received double honours from two different universities, Hill City University Benin Republic and Precious Corner Stone University Ibadan.
On Saturday, November 11, 2023, he announced the award of Doctor of Creative Writing (Honoris Causa) from the Precious Corner Stone University Ibadan, expressing deep gratitude for being considered worthy.
The following day brought another accolade as Mr Macaroni shared news of an honorary Doctorate Degree in the field of Arts from the Hill City University of Benin Republic.
Although not physically present to receive the award, he was represented at the event and expressed profound gratitude to both institutions for the honour.
