Netizens on X space have called the attention of law enforcement agencies as a terrorist with over three thousand followers on tiktok was seen flaunting naira notes.

The video uploaded by Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, noted that some followers of the accounts showed bandits with rifles dressed in military and police uniforms.

It was further alleged that the money, seen in the viral video was gotten from parents of victims who paid ransom for their children who had been kidnapped and victims of alleged banditry attack.

Discouraging the use of social media, the security analyst blamed the platform for allowing all forms for social vices which has allowed criminals to roam unrestricted.

In his words, “Audacity: Bandit on Tiktok flaunting and showing off ransom money he collected from his victims.

“The user of the account has 3000 followers, some of them are bandits who openly show off their rifles and are dressed in military or police uniforms.

“Tiktok platform has given room for insurgents to promote their campaign of terror without being restricted.”
