The National Intelligence Agency (NIA), has described the recruitment of Buhari’s billionaire nephew, Yusuf Sabiu, as the Assistant Director of the Agency as an imposition.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that he was recruited into the agency while working as a personal assistant to Buhari without following due process.
Sabiu is now to be redeployed to Nigeria from the UK, where he was deployed.
According to sources, Sabiu was a former recharge card before he became a personal aide to Buhari.
NEWSTODAYNG also gathered that he left for the UK on May 30 to resume as an assistant director with the NIA in what was alleged to be an immunity for him to cover his shady deals during the Buhari era.
He was also said to be more powerful than the immediate vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and to have unfettered access to the country’s resources.
