A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to recount her harrowing experience with eyelash extensions that nearly caused her to lose her vision.
Sharing her ordeal, she revealed that shortly after getting the extensions, her eyes started to feel irritated.
As time passed, the irritation worsened, and both of her eyes became swollen. Tears streamed down her face, and the white part of her eyes, known as the sclera, turned a bright red color.
Initially, she hoped the discomfort would subside on its own, but instead, it intensified, with her partner comforting her and gently wiping away the tears with a tissue.
Realizing the severity of the situation, she sought medical help at a hospital. The doctors conducted tests and initiated a treatment plan upon discovering the potential harm to her eyes. As part of the therapy, her left eye had to be covered for protection.
