As the Youth Games enters Day 5, Team Ekiti continues their impressive performance as Abdul Rahman Fatai bagged another medal at the ongoing 2023 National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
Team Ekiti representative in golf for male category, Fatai won another medal on Tuesday which brought Ekiti out of medaless teams to occupy 14th position ahead other southwestern states, Team Oyo and Ogun respectively.
According to the official medals table dated Tuesday, 26th September, 2023 released at 4:30pm shows that Lagos, Bayelsa and Edo states are second, third and fourth with Lagos having 18 medals, while Bayelsa and Edo have won 13 and 7 medals respectively.
Expectedly, the host, Delta state is topping the table with 14 gold, 6 silver and two bronze medals totalling 22.
Meanwhile, Enugu, Adamawa, Benue, Bauchi, Kebbi, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger, Sokoto and Taraba states have not won any medal.
