A social media activist, Reno Omokri has said ever since Peter Obi lost his frivolous lawsuit at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, he’s been surreptitiously plotting military intervention of the fourth republic.
Omokri, who stated this via his verified X handle, alleged that Obi’s utterances and that of his followers suggested a secret plot to derail this democratic dispensation.
In his words, “The statement yesterday by Peter Obi that the rule of law in Nigeria is eroding and under threat is just the culmination of the coup baiting that he and those close to him have been engaging in since they lost the February 25, 2023 election, and which heightened after the July 26, 2023 coup in Niger Republic.
“As Governor, Mr Obi did not hold Local Government elections in Anambra when they were constitutionally required, but he did not complain that the rule of law was under threat.
“When literally tens of dead bodies were found in the Ezu River, Anambra, while he was Governor, after their extrajudicial murder under his watch, he did not shriek about the erosion of the rule of law.
“When he was Yes Daddily calling for “religious war” against the Muslim Ummah, he did not think of the threats of his words to the rule of law.
“But now that he lost a frivolous lawsuit challenging the validity of an election he rightfully lost and came a distant third, Mr Obi wants to do ‘gbajue’ and gaslight our military into ending our Fourth Republic. Not only will it not happen, by God’s grace, but Peter Obi will NEVER be President of a united Nigeria.”
