Super Eagles and Napoli’s forward, Victor Osimhen has continued his impressive run in the New Year as he netted the first goal for table-topping Napoli in the 19th minute and a penalty by Elmas doubled the scoreline in the 82nd minute.
Napoli defeated 18th place Sampdoria 2-0 in their Serie A clash at Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Italy on Sunday.
Sampdoria not only suffered a defeat but had to play with one man down early in the game as Rincon bagged a penalty 38 minutes into the match
Napoli retains top spot with 44 points while Sampdoria seat in 18th place with only nine points so far in the season.
