Unknown gunmen has again attacked the ancient town of Owo in Ondo state. This time the daredevils launched an attack on the Craneburg Construction company located in the town in the evening of Wednesday 27th July 2022.
According to reports, two workers of the company were seriously injured in the shootings when gunmen attacked the site around 9:45 p.m on Wednesday. The gunmen allegedly used dynamites and other sophisticated weapons to unleash terror on their victims.
This is the second time the town of Owo will come under attacked by unknown gunmen in less than 2 months following the attack on a Catholic church in Owo on 5th june 2022 which left about 40 people dead and several others injured.
It is not yet confirmed if attackers are responsible for the catholic shootings or another set of bandits. As at the time of filing this report, men of the Nigeria police force are already at the scene and those injured have been moved to the hospital.
