The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Gregory Obi has tended his unreserved apology to the Traditional Rulers and people of Delta Central who gathered to welcome him.

Peter Obi made the apology in a post on his verified Twitter page on Tuesday where he revealed that he wasn’t able to visit the people of Isoko and Agbor because of the massive crowd he encountered.

His post reads: “I sincerely want to apologise to the Traditional Rulers and the people of Delta Central, who gathered at Olomu, the people of Isoko who I was supposed to meet at Oleh and the people of Agbor who came out in their numbers to welcome me to their domains.

“However, it became impossible to carry out the visits following the mammoth crowd. I apologise and promise to repeat the visits.”

However, during his visit to Warri, in the state, he assured the people of Delta of a new Nigeria and urged them to consider competence before voting anyone into power.

He guaranteed them of moving Nigeria from a consumption to a producing nation when voted into power.

Obi added that he and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed were kin to ensuring a secure and united Nigeria, one Nigerians can be proud of.
