The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of all members of Davido’s domestic staff over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
Their detention was made known to Newsmen by the Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin on Tuesday morning after report of Ifeanyi’s death went viral.
Speaking with Newsmen on the unfortunate incident, the Lagos PPRO said preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death.
In his words “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest.”
Ifeanyi’s tragic death occured on Monday, October 31 at his dad’s Banana Island home when his parent traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan on Monday and left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
